Murphy essentially disappears under the mountain of chins, cheeks and rolls. For the first "Nutty," Baker sketch-sculpted over a mask of Eddie´s face. Baker then turned it into a latex mold that contoured to the actor´s face. To play the 300 lb. professor, Murphy wore a fat suit made of polyurethane foam covered in spandex. Latex bladders filled with water were used to make the fat suit jiggle. Murphy also donned oversized rubber hands.
