Otherwise we might as well live in a dictatorship. As a former master of hounds, I am only too aware that a democracy can pass a bad law. While those of us who hunt are always mindful of compliance, we nevertheless feel nothing but disdain for the law that has banned hunting. Does that also make us traitors? |
