It has gone from being a system where the side that lost majority/positions; would just work with what they had and wait for the next election cycle... NOW - both sides put their own careers and parties ahead of the people who elected them! If one party likes a piece of legislation; as long as its their own idea and their own party has the White House - they are all for it... however, if the same idea were presented while the opposing party has the White House - those same people would fight tooth and nail, against it... purely because it isn´t "their guy" in office. |
